Full Garden Design.

Your garden is a special place just for you.

I want to help you make it amazing!

I'll listen carefully to how you live and what you want, and together, we'll design a space that feels just right for you and your family. We'll talk about the things you love doing outside, the fun moments you want to create, and what you need from your garden.

The goal is to make a garden that isn't just pretty to look at, but perfect for the way you really live.

Design process.

I've outlined my design process below to give you a clear idea of what to expect at each stage of a full garden design.

Once the handover phase is complete, I'll be able to introduce you to talented landscapers who can bring our vision to life. To make your life easier, I can be around for site inspections throughout the construction to ensure everything is going according to plan. And when the build is complete, I'll personally set out the plants to give it that final touch!

Of course, if you'd like to take the designs to your favourite landscapers and manage the build yourself, that's perfectly fine too.

Phase 1

Consultation.

During our initial consultation, we will talk about your ideas and needs for your garden. We'll discuss how you plan to use the area, specific requirements for your lifestyle (such as entertaining spaces, child-friendly areas, or pet considerations), style preferences, and your budget constraints. This conversation helps us create a garden design that reflects your personality and fits your practical needs.

Phase 4

Concept design.

Now, your garden begins to take visual form! I'll present concept drawings and a mood board that capture the style and key features of your garden. This will include material choices, colour schemes, and special plants that define the character of your space. This is your chance to see how everything will come together before we move on to detailed plans.

Phase 2

Site analysis.

Next, I'll visit your garden to take measurements and assess the existing conditions. This includes checking the soil, noting where sunlight and shade fall, spotting drainage issues, and looking at existing plants and structures. This information helps us choose what will grow well in your garden and how to work with its natural features.

Phase 5

Working & planting plans.

Once the concept is approved, I'll develop detailed technical drawings and specifications. These will include planting plans with specific plants and quantities, as well as construction details for hardscaping and lighting. These documents will guide the implementation of your garden design accurately.

Phase 3

Bubble plans.

Using the information gathered, I'll create preliminary bubble diagrams showing how different functional areas of your garden will connect. This step focuses on establishing natural flow between spaces, determining primary pathways, and optimising the layout for both practical use and visual appeal. These diagrams will help us visualise how you will move through and enjoy your garden before finalising the design.

Phase 6

Handover.

To ensure your garden thrives for years to come, I'll provide custom maintenance guides and schedules for your garden. These guides will cover seasonal care, pruning tips, and common issues to watch out for. I can also arrange check-ins to monitor growth, make adjustments, and help your garden mature beautifully over time.

I'd love to hear from you.
